- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
• Schedule an appointment with an available Notary. • After the invitation to an online notarization session is sent to the signer, the signer must complete the following pre-signing steps: (1) Open your email with a calendar invitation and a confirmation email. If you have to reschedule your appointment, please do so in the calendar invite. Use the confirmation email to prepare for the notarization session and meet your Notary online; (2) Upload a document to be notarized — must not exceed 25 MB; (3) Complete identity verification and credential analysis; and (4) Submit payment details. When the signer is ready for the notarization session, the Notary will invite the signer to connect online.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Do I have a current and valid government issued photo ID (i.e., driver’s license, passport, etc.)? Do I have access to an audio/video technology (webcam) to proceed with Remote Online Notarization (RON)? What document do you want notarized? Which notarial act do I require (i.e., Acknowledgement or Jurat (oath or affirmation)?
