Wanted to do something different for my wife on Valentine's day, flowers and chocolate were very cliche. I thought a carrot cake (her favorite) from a professional confectioner would be different and show I paid extra attention. Contacted Moni's Sweets and since I'm not in the local area she suggested cup cakes instead (shipping considerations). We had quite a few emails back and forth which impressed me considering my order was small. At the time shipping was new to Moni's Sweets so research was done on how to ship cupcakes, made payment got my confirmation number and waited. The cupcakes arrived a day early. Moni's sweets knowing there was a regular male on the other end tried to make things as easy for me as possible, so she frosted and decorated them prior to shipment (which I ok'ed). Unfortunately the heat melted the frosting, and when Moni's Sweets had contacted me to ask how they arrived and when I mentioned that the frosting melted, she offered to either refund my money or resend the shipment. I politely refused both since my wife was moved because I made the effort for a unique and personal gift, so my mission was complete.
How was the taste? Wonderful. For carrot cake I expected something heavy and Moni's Sweet's cupcakes were very light and fluffy, a very welcomed surprise.
I'm absolutely looking forward to using Moni's Sweets in the future.

WOW! WOW! WOW! Where do I begin... We met Moni through a referral for our wedding cake. When my husband and I met her we instantly fell in love with her professionalism, her obvious obsession with perfection and her delicious cakes. We had tasted 3 previous cakes before for our wedding and none of them were up to "Wedding Standards," but when we tasted Monis vanilla rum marscapone cake we were SOLD! If we could jump over the table and hug her I think we would have. My husband was licking his fingers at the tasting!!! (And he's definitely not the type!) Moni went above and beyond. We were so amazed with the service we insisted she be our wedding day coordinator! WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED! I DONT KNOW WHAT I WOULD HAVE DONE WITHOUT HER! We had our wedding on October 19,2014 ( at an outdoor waterfront estate). I was especially amazed at how Moni handled each and every issue that arose on my wedding (many of which I didn't find out about until after the wedding). She's great under pressure, always available and worth every penny we paid her! Please do yourself a favor and taste her cakes and meet her as a person you will be sure to be SOLD just as me and my husband were. We had a spectacular wedding and it was all thanks to Moni! Thank you Moni. We will definitely be using you for whatever cake and event planning events we have in the future!!!!

Try Moni's Sweets & You Won't Be Disappointed!!!! I was planning my mom's 60th birthday party.... I had the invites out, rsvp's in, food ordered, decorations ready and just 1 week before the party I realized that I didn't have a cake! How could I forget the cake?!?! Lucky for me, Moni came to the rescue! She worked with me to create a design and flavor that all my guests loved. I had no clue what I wanted for the cake but Moni was patient and came up with a beautiful 3 tier, blue, black, and white fondant cake with Betty Boop theme. The first two layers were vanilla rum and the top layer was peanut butter and chocolate (Reese's flavor). Moni was even able to deliver it at the last minute. We were originally going to pick up the cake but on the day of the event, due to horrible weather and other delays, we had no time. Moni didn't hesitate, she delivered the cake right on time (She even made it to the venue before me!) It was a huge hit at the party and my mother felt very special. She had a beautiful, delicious custom cake with her favorite character for her 60th THANKS TO MONI'S SWEETS!
