FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I try to keep pricing fair for the level of personal and relevant teaching you will receive.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, let's find out what you want to learn and your learning style, then set up a method book or songs that are on your level. We'll go from the simplest steps one step at a time toward your desired goal. We'll evaluate each time we meet to make sure you're comfortable with what we're pursuing. I am so looking forward to working with you and seeing each of your successful moments!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I earned a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in music. I am a member of the Florida Music Educators Association. The Florida Bandmasters Association, the Florida Vocal Association, and the Florida Federation of Music Clubs have taught me many key tools and tricks to share with students. Having my students adjudicated by wonderful professionals, and inviting the best teachers in to watch me teach and give me hints on how to better myself also helped tremendously. Hundreds of my instrumental and vocal students in groups and individuals have been rated Superior or first in state. Many have been selected to All State ensembles, while others have simply enjoyed the ability to personally express themselves musically!
