FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I usually charge by the difficulty of the job, the time involved and the distance I have to travel to get to the job. All that being said it has a lot to do with the client. It is important we understand and can communicate with each other. I will do anything the client wants, in photography but some jobs just require more work after the shoot as well. For example if I am shooting a wedding and it is 4 hours with about 300-500 pictures or more then there is a lot of time involved in reviewing all of those shots and so they cost more. A shoot with one or two subjects in a set or similar setting takes a lot lest time to proof those shoots
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
What I like to do as an artist of Photography is to first meet with my customers and see if I can get the same vision they have for the photography they want and what they will consider to be art. I want them to not only like the work I produce for them, but I want them to love it! We are preserving today for many years to come!!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taken several photography courses, but the real experience comes in doing photography for my clients. They all have different needs and visions; seeing and creating that picture for them is the real art!
