Introduction: My assessment is crucial, to determining the correct plan for you. The assessment includes: Recording your body metrics *Body Fat %, weight, height, age, girth measurement of calf, thigh, hip, waist, chest, shoulder, neck, forearm and upper arm.  Flexibility evaluation, strength, and balance.   I have found the initial assessment to be critical to creating a fitness program for you because past injuries, muscle imbalances and diet will impact your results. For 20 years I have been enjoying helping clients reduce unwanted abdominal fat, get stronger, fit and healthier. I will help you tone your body safely.  Our body's have an amazing capacity  to improve, when using the right fitness plan.  I admire your decision to reach out for support, it would be a pleasure to meet with you.

I chose Max Sturdivant as a personal trainer due to his passion for the combination of fitness & nutrition. In the year that I worked with Max I lost inches, gained strength, mobility & self confidence. Max taught me to keep a daily record of my food & exercise in order to keep myself accountable. I also learned portion sizes and to shop the perimeter of the grocery store in order to get the fresh healthy foods that were best for me. Working with Max has become a life changing event, I continue to eat healthy & workout on my own. So far, I have lost 75 pounds and 4 dress sizes. I have gained mobility, personal respect and knowledge of myself so that I am now able to know what foods are right for me before I eat them so I no longer feel the negative affects of foods. I recommend working with Max if you have a passion to start or continue your journey to fitness.

After spending my life being underweight, I started working with Max in an effort to gain 20 pounds of lean muscle mass over 6 months. This was quite a commitment for me, and I knew it would be a challenge finding time in my busy life to make this goal a reality. After recording some baseline information Max and his assistant guided me to a training regimen personalized to my schedule and goals. Max proved very knowledgeable and willing to share that knowledge to assist me with my physical development. In addition to a personalized exercise routine and meal planning assistance, I was regularly motivated to continue pressing forward, even when I experienced a plateau in my gains and wanted to call it quits. While I didn't quite reach my 20 pound goal, I was able to put on a healthy 15 pounds in time for Summer which made my confidence soar while turning a few heads in the process.

What I appreciated about Max and the Fitness Pursuits program was the level of knowledge regarding the total look of fitness. They helped its' clients put exercise in perspective to eating the right foods. Max showed me compassion and concern for my specific needs from the program. This was a great overall experience.

Max was a great trainer. We hit many bumps in the process with my limitations but he was very supportive. His encouraging words got me thru some difficult times. I would recommend Max to anyone looking for a knowledgeable trainer that knows how to keep you motivated.
