- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing can vary from job to job. Because no two homes or businesses are alike, there are no identical jobs. Each flat rate is priced for the specific situation, amd will be determined on a case by case basis. The full cost of floor preparation can only be determined once the entire subfloor is exposed. If the subfloor is covered in carpet or floating floor(LVP, Laminate, engineered hardwood). It is impossible to determine the condition until the subfloor itself is exposed. Therefore, we always estimate for 1 bag of mud, but it could end up taking much more. WE DONT TAKE CHECKS OF ANY KIND.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always ask the customer to describe what this project finished will look like in their own words. I really want to know what they are dreaming of. Then we move forward and make it happen.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I completed a 2 year apprenticeship to learn flooring and I have over 20 years of experience in the trades.
