Ezekiel was quick to respond to my request and offered to start right away. He was pleasant to talk with and I expected the engagement to be a good one. He then quoted the job sight-unseen starting at a very high offer and the suddenly dropping the price before I even had a chance to ask where he got that number from. I had the same experience later when I realized he wasn’t planning to include trim paining in the job. Suddenly his quote for the job the doubled with no explanation even though it only added a few hours of work to the job. I asked him to arrive well before 10 AM on the first day of the engagement so I could walk through the job with him before I had a 10 AM meeting for work. He agreed but arrived at 9:59 AM. His original estimate for the amount of paint needed (two gallons) was off by three gallons which necessitated multiple additional trips to the store. (In his defense, we did add one small bathroom to the job - but not enough to justify such a disconnect after he saw the rooms he was painting). His painting was mostly good but he missed many corner spots and I had to point out more than ten places that were either unpainted, had trim paint on walls, or had wall paint on the ceiling or trim. I would expect a professional painter to get this right without needing to have it pointed out to him. Lastly, lost track of many face plate screws and simply slapped the face plates back on the wall with minimal or no screws. We had to search the carpets to find all of the face plate screws he dropped. Again, not something I would expect from a pro painter. We still have a few more spots we need to touch up that he missed, and to paint a bathroom that he skipped because I clearly expected it to be included but he didn’t confirm one way or the other.

Very professional crew everyone was very respectful they took time to stop and let me review the work they did, i was very pleased with how they go over and beyond when they do not have to. i will use them again in the near future.
