- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We do not charge for consultation, we offer FREE 3D rendering of the project space to ensure the client knows what the post-construction results look like. We continuously offer discounts and promotions especially as the scope increases as it gives us a better negotiation advantage with our sub contractors.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
In-Home Consultation (free - 30min to an hour) > Showroom Appointment (within the week) > Sign Contract and Deposit to Secure Materials > Order Materials and Stage for Project Start (permitting etc.) > Demo > Rough Carpentry/Plumbing/Electrical etc. > Inspection > Set Cabinetry and Template for Countertop / Glass Templating (as needed) > Close & Prep for Rebuild > Tile/Paint as needed > Countertop Install > Tiling & Trims for Electrical/Plumbing > Final Inspections > Punchlist > Close
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The AP Team has over 100yrs of collective knowledge and experience within the construction and remodeling industry. We are not just a handyman operation, we are a licensed and insured general contracting shop which means we are essentially the experts that assemble the trades, create the cadence to the project, manage the unforeseeable that is always present (we are renovating the space for a reason after all), and ultimately provide the comfort homeowners seek when their house is going through what seems to be a destruction. It is a very difficult process for most homeowners until they see the end result. It is not just a construction project but a process that often brings out the best and worst out of everyone involved in the process as well as a great deal of empathy when things go sideways because there are always variables that cannot be controlled - traffic, accidents, personal lives, etc. We don't guarantee a 100% smooth process but we do everything to make sure the work is done right.
