FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There's no such thing as standard pricing because there's no such thing as a standard lawn. Especially if you consider the wide variation of each and every owner's taste as it relates to the way they view their lawn should be cared for, and the perception they have regarding how it should look all year round. Most clients don't spend enough time in their own yards to know what the yard is capable of and not capable of. My job is not only service their lawn, but also to meet their expectations when possible, and make sure the client and myself are focused on the same goals.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Communication, communication, and more communication. This is the missing ideal in this industry.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
For the last 13 years I have maintained all state required CEU's and I've also participated in Florida's Best Management Practices for landscapes course. I was raised in a plant nursery and attended Indian River Community College for studies focused on Agriculture. But then there is no substitute for experience. I've been doing this every day for the last 13 years.
