Frank was very nice and professional and was able to come and mow my yard within a few hours notice. I was not able to be there but when he came by but I came home to a beautiful lawn. I plan to hire him again in the future.

Everything started out great! The first two visits he showed up with no issues and the yard looked great. The third visit he never showed up. I contacted him to see if he was still coming by email and he responded letting me know that his dog was having surgery. I totally understand that things come up, but I was a little bit uneasy with him not giving me a heads up. He did come out the next day though and everything was fine. On the 4th visit, again, he didn't show up. I waited 24 hours before sending him an email. This time he said the rain got him the day before, and now he was at the hospital having his foot checked out due to stepping on a rusty nail. He told me that he planned on coming the following day if his foot allowed. The next day, I received an email from him stating his foot was no better, so he couldn't make it. Then he informs me that it's no longer beneficial for him to do my yard since I was his only appt on the westside of Jacksonville. (He could have just not responded to my ad if my area of town didn't meet his criteria.) While I do understand that things come up, this just sounds like a lot of excuses to me at this point. Communication goes a long way. I'm changing my 5 star rating now to a 1 star. I would never leave a client with no one AND an overgrown yard due to myself being a no show. I have since rehired another company through thumbtack

Hi, Christina. Basically, you're calling me a liar which is not fair. You yourself know it rained that day as all my accounts didn't get serviced. We spoke the same day of the rain out. No lawn service company mows during downpours. The other two things happened as stated. I have proof for any customer that would like it. I can show hospital records and customer proof of where the accident happened. Accidents happen at work all the time and I notified you, again. As I did with all my customers. Giving a good Lawn service company a bad rating because things in life happen is not fair. You yourself provided me 5 stars for the service I provided. I even came back one day to provide service to you and your family on the 4th of July that wasn't part of our contract, for FREE. Just so your family could enjoy the holiday on the water!!! So, please rate appropriately! I provided communication on all occasions and have proof as well. Being disappointed because your home is no longer in a service area for my company shouldn't deserve a bad rating. Good luck to you and hopefully you'll understand bad things happen to good people!
