I was incredibly blessed to find Pure Maintenance. If you have a mold issue, you HAVE to hire them. They are ADVANCED, ahead of the times, focused on health, long-term and permanent solutions, and all done more efficiently and at a better price than the "standard" remediation. They are incredibly ethical company, as they could easily charge more for their advanced protocols, but their focus remains on HELPING people, especially those with health issues. My apartment was negligent and later deemed unfit for habitation by a licensed mold inspector.I got another quote from a company that was literally double. This other company also made me extremely uncomfortable as they first wanted to know how much our renter's insurance was paying. I could not go forward with that.Pure Maintenance offered a more thorough clean, using safer, more effective products, all while being 100% above board on ethics.

STEER CLEAR!!!Pure Maintenance Mold Remediation was referred to us by a friend, and unfortunately it was by far the worst referral weve ever received.We contacted Pure after our home was damaged due to a roofers negligence (the roof was replaced during a storm and our home flooded). This was a liability insurance claim through the roofer, and while we werent paying out of pocket, we had to coordinate everythingwhich quickly became a nightmare. Pure recommended air quality testing, which came back good. They then cut into a baseboard and found very minimal mold, yet immediately began pushing an extremely aggressive scope of work. We were also pressured to use their preferred public adjuster and told it would cost us nothing, only to later learn we could be on the hook for significant out-of-pocket costs.We primarily dealt with Chance, who repeatedly stated this would be at least a $120k job, including a full pack-out of our home, removal of most walls and all ceilings, and repairs to rooms that werent even affected. They brought in a put-back company they work closely with, which echoed the same $120k+ estimate and even suggested we consider selling our home because repairs would supposedly take six monthsfor a 2,000 sq ft, one-story house. It felt very coordinated and opportunistic once it was clear this was an insurance claim.After waiting over a month for an official estimate that we needed to submit to the roofers insurance company, we were told they would not release the estimate unless we signed a contract/work authorization firstessentially asking us to sign without knowing the cost. We were told this was because their third-party estimating company charges them $3,000. Multiple insurance adjusters and another remediation company later confirmed they have never heard of a company requiring a signed contract before providing an estimate.Communication then stopped entirely. Pure Maintenance left their equipment in our home for five months without any follow-up, and we had to call them to come retrieve it.We ultimately went with a different remediation company who provided a detailed estimate upfront, did not require a contract until insurance funds were approved, completed the job in 5 weeks (not 6 months), and explained that Pures scope was blown wildly out of proportion. The final cost was roughly $80,000 less than what Pure was pushing.Based on our experience, Pure Maintenance was sketchy, unethical, and unprofessional. I would strongly caution anyoneespecially those dealing with insurance claimsto get multiple opinions and proceed very carefully before working with them.

We are glad your problem has been resolved! After reviewing the project, we did bring in a contractor to give an estimate on needed Drywall put back, he was asked what the worst case scenario could be, and so he gave a ballpark to replace all drywall, kitchen, and bathroom, which would have been the worst case scenario given the water going down each wall throughout the entire house due to an uncovered roof. We ask that you not base your experience with us off of a ballpark given by a third-party contractor on what the worst case scenario could be. The most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with! First, they were 3.5 hours late to the appointment for vent cleaning and did not even call to let us know. Then, they only cleaned two of our vents that day because they did not allow themselves enough time. They said they would finish another day, but couldnt tell us when. Then, a few days later, they show up with NO NOTICE on a day when normally both of us are working away from home. Thankfully my partner was out of office that day, but not asking if it was an okay day to come or even letting us know they were coming was entirely unprofessional. To top it off, they handled our personal belongings with no care whatsoever. They knocked over stuff with their equipment and didnt bother to put it back rightside up. Even worse, they damaged multiple items of ours with their carelessness. Completely rude and disrespectful of these employees and company.
