Murals by Dionne

Introduction: Hello, I'm Dionne Owens. The owner/artist of "Murals by Dionne". You could say I am a perfectionist, and you'd be right. I love what I do and can't help but stay till it's perfect! I strickly use only top brand paints, for a quality finish. I mainly work alone but, I can bring people in to get the job done as timely as possible, I absolutely love painting and creating art. I am driven and am excited to hear about what you have in mind. If I can see it or desing it, I can paint it! I raised 5 children as a house wife, on the edge of the National Forrest in southern WV. For 20 something years. Painting, woodburning and making etched glass art on the side for extra income, or as gifts for the Holidays. I also taught any of the young people who seemed interested how to paint, woodburning ect. I was raised here in Jacksonville. Florida. I Studied at Douglas Anderson, School of the Arts the year they first opened. Later at F.C.C.J South campus, as an art major. I promised myself, I would fallow my dream of being a Muralist, designer and painter once my nest was empty. I want more than anything to make my clients absolutely delighted first and formost. Beyand that, deep down, I want my children and grandchildren proud of me. To show them I can and that I am willing, to walk to talk! My first mural was done over spring break if this year. A 19 foot Eagle, for Greenwood school. I designed and painted it myself. I also threw in a canvas painting I had done in preparation. Pictures will be available.
