Introduction: Hi I'm Chef Trina founder and head chef at The Flomade Table. I'm classically trained at the Auguste Escoffiere School of Culinary Arts. While I've been in the industry for quite some time as a side hustle, I recently left my 9-5 to make this my full-time passion job. While classically trained, I pride myself in taking classical techniques and using them to create new and fused cuisines. In addition I've been dabbling in molecular gastronomy to create some truly magical dishes! I have a special experience that I like to present to visitors to our region taking them through a historical journey of flavors contributed to by the migration of different cultures to create what we now call Floribbean cuisine. I also have a team that assists when needed and we offer full or self serve bar service, a nutritional specialist for those with special needs (she makes the most amazing low carb desserts ever) and a photographer or photo booth for special occasions.

Chef Trina’s dinner was impeccable. Everything from the table decor, the set up, the ambience, the presentation and the food! Everything was amazing! She made the birthday dinner a success! I can’t wait to book her again for more dinners in the future. We especially loved the gastronomy aspect of our dinner and are looking forward to another dinner in the future where we can witness the molecular gastronomy in action. Chef Trina as a person is so kind, personable, funny, energetic, and really loves her passion and sharing that gift with others. I’m so glad I found her on Thumbtack. A rare gem!

Chef Trina was the highlight of our bachelor party weekend. From start to finish, Trina's professionalism and responsiveness made coordinating a dinner for a large group seamless. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge per plate for service and the client pays for the groceries. This allows for menu changes, upgrades and add ons without changing the price per plate. It removes the restrictions of food costing. I'm always conscious of the client's budget and buy only what I need. All food purchased stays with the client after the event unless they want it disposed of.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will have a consultation call to establish your needs for the event, dietary restrictions and menu preferences. Once a sample menu is created it will be sent to you for approval or revision. Once a menu has been established we will send an estimate and request a 50% deposit for booking. The remainder is paid upon completion of the event.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a culinary degree from Auguste Escoffiere School of Culinary Arts
