I found a shingle in my yard and thought it was mine after the storm. I randomly called Val at Polo Contractors and he came out a couple hours later. He climbed the roof and found that I had no shingles missing, but he had some glue and tacked a few spots while up there. He told me how I had some shrubs too close to the house which could lead to future problems and even helped me cut one down with the loppers. I asked him how much do I owe him and he said zero charge. Val was very nice and honest. I will call him again for future roof repairs!

I lost a few sections of shingles during Hurricane Helene. After putting in the Thumbtack request, Val immediately reached out to schedule a free estimate. He came through on the same day, climbed the two story roof and investigated. He happened to also discover an issue with a boot, which had caused leaks in my bathroom when the wind blew rain in a certain direction. It wasn't frequent but it was annoying. Val took some time to school me on the roofing industry as this was my first roof repair. It was very informative and helped me navigate the other contractors who were coming out to provide estimates later that day. Val's quote was $2600 to repair. It was on par with the estimates I received from others. But he was the only one that climbed up there and found the issue with the boot. We did the estimate on Friday. And on Wednesday of the following week, Val and his team did the repair. It was all tested 10 days later when the roof survived Hurricane Milton. I highly recommend Val and Polo Contractors for all your roofing needs.

I requested a contact through Thumbtack and within 10 minutes, Val had returned my call. I am a realtor and had numerous repair items on a home inspection including specific roof repairs and wood rot. He provided an estimate within one day and started and completed the work with in 2 days precisely as accepted and at a very reasonable price. Our experience with Polo Contractors was fabulous. We did not know how exactly the work to fix the issue with the fascia would be done, but when it was finished we were totally surprised by how good it looked, but how they were able to make something that was ugly to start with, now looks great. Exceptionally well done and for a fair price. Will definitely be contacting Polo Contractors again for other home improvements.

Val was prompt, professional, knowledgeable, and honest. I had some water intrusion after a heavy rain. Val arrived prepared and even went into the attic. He found the most likely cause and repaired it on the spot. Five stars!
