Steve is a very professional piano instructor who supports and encourages all of his students. He is very flexible with scheduling and always has a positive attitude. I highly recommend him as a music teacher!
Don is a showman who interacts well with his audience. Plays many originals song and can cover nearly any request. He's a great singer/songwriter/guitarist and plays until his fingers bleed. It's always a pleasure to watch and listen, or even join in on his event. I would highly recommend this low-coutnry troubadour.
I found Daria and her company to be a top notch entertainment company. The quality in the playing of she and her musicians were second to none and their attention to details were highly professional.
Samantha has been teaching my older daughter piano for 5-6 years now, and has been teaching my younger one for one year. We are so happy with Samantha. She is very supportive of the girls, and I am constantly amazed by what they have achieved with her. The last few times she has picked a piano piece out for both girls for a recital, I thought, what is she thinking, that is way too hard - but she knows exactly what they can do, and every time, they achieve their goals and amaze us at the recital. One of the things I love is that she doesn't just teach them to play, she teaches them about music and about composers. I strongly encourage people looking for a piano (or voice) teacher to try Samantha (in fact, many of our friends now have children taking lessons from her and I don't know anyone that isn't happy). As a side note, it is also fun to listen to her play to show the girls how it should sound. She is an amazing musician of her own.
I am a board member on a local management council in Jacksonville, FL and we have an annual gala each year. This year we chose the band, Jimmy Beats. Jimmy Beats is a local reggae band, that has a fusion of jazz and blues. Jimmy Beats' voice is very close to the authentic reggae sound of Bob Marley but also mixes in songs from Sublime, 311, Jimmy Cliff, Ziggy and many other reggae musicians including his own originals. Jimmy and his band came days ahead of time to examine the stage and make sure he had the proper lighting and electricity. He had a rain contingency plan and the day of the event, Jimmy and the band were there well ahead of schedule. Not one hiccup in the evening. If you are looking for the feeling of positive vibes or the Caribbean feel, then this band is the band to book.
Mandalla is comprised of veteran musicians that I've had the pleasure of working with. As a booking manager of several well known music venues in NE Fl. I work with a multitude of performers. What Mandalla brings to your event is a refreshing latin feel and interpretation of popular songs that not only entertain but will have your guest dancing the night or day away. Excellent musicians as well.
I asked Summer to come up with a logo design for my music education business. It was a big step for me in setting up my business, a stamp of legitimacy as I was venturing (and still am) into largely uknown and exciting territory. Summer is professional, inspiring, and creative - all while being down to earth and very easy to talk with in realizing the logo. She nailed the spirit of my business with a fantastic logo and presented the work in a timely fashion. I would not hesitate to work with her again in a second.
George was great. An excellent musician. A pleasure to work with.
When I began taking lessons from Rebecca Minor I was just hoping to get better at singing, but thankfully for me she was a visionary who saw beyond my limited goals and has helped me harness more of my potential than I thought was possible. Rebecca doesn't implement a one-size-fits-all coaching regimen; she clearly identified my strengths and weaknesses as a vocalist and carefully crafted a game plan to bring out the best in me. She pushes me to be my best, but she has an uncanny ability to know when to press for more and when to take her foot off of the gas. It's easy to follow her lead because she is a coach with an impressive track record of performing both as an instrumentalist and vocalist as well as writing and recording her own music. Her greatest asset though in my opinion is her desire to see her students succeed; she genuinely cares. And she employees a teaching style that is very welcoming and encouraging yet challenging and rewarding. The proof is in the pudding though. I went from being a guy with zero confidence to someone who can step on stage and perform with a vocal ensemble, sing a solo for my church or even lead worship. I am proof that if you're willing to listen to her advice and work hard at your craft then Rebecca can extract a little gold from within you too.
Rufaro is a musician that I've worked with. I am a D.J./Musician. I'm glad to see 3rd realm entertainment doing well. Over the 15 years of with 3rd realm, I hope as a whole that we will be successful.
I can't say enough of good things about Jesse Cruce and the St. Augustine Music Center! Jesse is kind and patience and I am always impressed with how well he can deal with my son who can often get distracted. He is instilling a real joy of music with my 9 year old. Jesse is extremely talented not only as a musician but as a teacher as well. The St. Augustine Music Center has a number of different instruments available that my son can learn to play from piano, guitar, drum, organ, violin and many more. Jesse is very flexible in how he teaches; if you want a child to learn how to read music or if you just want you child to learn chords, sing and have fun he will work with you and your child for an awesome experience that will fit your individual needs. I have learned so much by just listening and watching myself. I have no doubt that any person who is interested in learning music would have wonderful things about their experience with the St. Augustine Music Center and Jesse Cruce!
