- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It's hard to have a standard price for tree work because each tree is different and has their own set of challenges and dangers. This is why I always tell my clients to have a professional travel to their address and not quote a price over the phone. In my experience, the ones that quote a price usually go up on their price when they get to the job site or are unqualified for the job at hand.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure to have the professional give you a quote in person. Also make sure to verify their insurance, do not accept a piece of paper but ask for their providers contact information and call them directly. It is too easy for someone to fake a piece of paper, it's best to verify yourself
