About
We are an on-site and in-shop repair center for all makes and models of computers and laptops. Even when you have been told by others that there is no life left in a device, we are able to fix it. Because we are not a major store chain, we have the freedom to spend more time investigating and resolving your computer issues. We have been in business here in Jacksonville, FL since 2002. We have been employed directly by the likes of Dell, HP, Toshiba, Gateway, and Xerox. We have been contracted by many known businesses, i.e., Bellsouth, CSX Transportation, Fidelity Investments, Memorial Hospital, Orange Park Medical, and the City of Jacksonville, as well as hundreds of residential homes across the First Coast area. We can be trusted and counted on to do a job right the first time, so we don't waste you time. Typical service calls range in the area of $100.00 per call, but our minimum for going on site to diagnose a repair is $45.00. If we are contracted to do the work, then that diagnosis fee is waived, or we can even apply it toward the purchase of a new computer or laptop. We do sell new and used computers, but our main focus is repair. We do not rely on sales of product to be the main income, so you can trust that we are not trying to just make a sale. Our philosophy is: Make lifetime customers first and all the other needs will be meet. We look forward to serving you.

I had originally contracted GT Perez to assist me with establishing parental controls on my son's PC that would allow my son to continue to play his games. What at first appeared to be a relatively simply job, turned into a massive undertaking. Additionally, on the day GT was to come to my home to finalize the issues with my son's computer, my home network went down. GT went above and beyond the call of duty by assisting me. He completely delivered and was extremely fair in his pricing. I will definitely use his services again. Dawna

Very Professional and determined. Even with unexpected problems with vendor supplied hardware the technician remained steadfast in willingness to complete the job and keep me informed as issues came up. Highly recommend to anyone.

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

The most common jobs we have seen as of late are attacks of "rogue anti-virus" programs. These are the programs that get into a computer and then give lots of alerts or warning messages about the computer being infected with viruses that are not actually there. They then state to clear these errors up you need a full version of their software which you must purchase online with your credit card. Once the transaction is done a software will download but it will be only a temporary solution as it returns in a few weeks asking for more money. Worse yet, some unknown person now has your credit card information to do whatever they wish with. We recommend calling our office as soon as you see any signs of this kind of attack on your computer. We will remove all traces of the bad software of a flat rate usually of $85 - $120 per computer depending on how bad it is.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Call the service provider and see how quickly they answer or call you back. Ask if you are speaking to a call center from another state or to a local office. Describe your issue to them and see if they are willing to give you an over the phone price quote. If they are not able to ask what is the flat rate for coming onsite to diagnose the problem. Ask about their experience in the corporate or military environment compared to the residential market.(believe me there is a great difference) Do they sound sincere and willing to meet you at your convenience? How long have they been working in this local area as a business? Do they have any references?
