I had a single four-shelf bookcase that needed to be moved from my parents’ house to mine — only about a 2.5-mile drive. A larger moving company quoted me $800–$1,000, which felt crazy for one piece of furniture.

I reached out to Tay’s Moving Company instead, and I’m so glad I did. Their communication was excellent from the beginning. They gave me a very fair, transparent quote that accounted for the job, their travel time, and the tolls, with no surprises.

When they arrived, they were professional and careful with the bookcase. They covered it, used a dolly, handled everything properly, and made the entire move incredibly easy.

What stood out most to me was how attentive and communicative they were. I never had to wonder what was happening or chase anyone down for an answer.

If you’re in the Orlando or Lake Nona area and need help moving — even if it’s just one item like I did — I would absolutely recommend Tay’s Moving Company. Fair pricing, great communication, professional service, and a genuinely easy experience from start to finish.

They came right on time and worked pretty efficiently! I only had the budget for a certain amount of time for moving help, not for the complete job, but they were able to get a lot done during that time which left little work for me

Details: Studio • Less than 5 miles • Load via freight elevator • Unload via freight elevator

Had a small mix up with the address so the crew was about 40 minutes late. However, once they arrived they were professional, friendly, and most importantly VERY careful with my grandmother's furniture. They worked quickly and got everything moved to the pod in about an hour. The company is very responsive and I would definitely use them again when necessary. Overall, a great experience.

Details: 6-10 items • Dining table • Other furniture items • Within the same building • Stairs to load items • No change in floors to unload items
