Great golf coach, the recordings show you exactly what to work on and you can watch them anytime after the lesson for a refresher.Sep 30, 2018Verified
Chip is an excellent golf coach. He provides a number of tools that are essential to the success of his students. I have been able to not only benefit from the numerous drills that he has given me, but I have also benefited from the videos lesson that we do. He is always willing to go above and beyond for his students, and has been able to get me to a point where I feel confident with my swing every time I step onto the course.Feb 9, 2017
Chip is a great coach for my son. My son was taught the skills he needed to play in tournaments in a professional and fun way. All the kids on his league benifit from Chips knowledge of golf and how to teach youth. My son has been going to Chip for lessons, camps, and Laurie for years and will continue to. Great guy and great coach! Can't go wrong with Chip!Feb 11, 2017
I have been working with Chip for about six months now. Chip has extensive experience and knowledge of the modern day golf swing. His use of video offers immediate feedback and allows the student to learn from visualization. I have been playing golf on and off for years and never had many lessons-- so I was one band aid after band aid to try to play golf. Chip went back to basics; aim, alignment, stability, balance, rotation and such. I have total confidence in what Chip is saying and his teachings. My swing is markedly improved from when we first met, scores are dropping, and will continue working with Chip for years to come. Many kudos!Feb 11, 2017
My 12 year old son takes golf lessons from Chip. Chip is patient and has made a big difference in our sons game. He is a wonderful instructor!Feb 12, 2017

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I offer 30 and 60 minute game improvement programs. Pricing depends on the length of improvement program selected. Prices can vary starting at $20 for a group clinic and up to $110 per lesson depending on if the program is for an adult or junior at either a 30 or 60 minute lesson. All 60 minute lessons include video analysis of your swing.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I believe the key to shooting lower scores is to learn how to be more consistent with every club in the bag. By successfully coaching hundreds of students since 1995, I have valuable experience and knowledge in teaching the proper fundamentals and techniques of both the full swing and short game that are necessary to help lower your scores. The key to obtain this goal begins with understanding consistently cause and effect. The first step in achieving this is to have a good foundation. By learning how to have the proper setup, position, aim and alignment. We will build from the ground up a more consistent fundamentally correct setup, which in return will begin the proper foundation in understanding what is needed to implement a change with your “Cause and Effect.”
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am a award winning PGA Director of Instruction, who has gone through the necessary requirements of earning my Class A PGA membership through the education and on course testing with the Professional Golf Management Program of the PGA of America. In addition, I have taught in separate golf clinics with David Leadbetter, Jim Flick and Tom Watson.
