His maintenance was only what he felt like you wanted to do. He stated he can paint the house. They did a absolutely horrible job. I will have to repay to have somebody professionally do it. When he was terminated, he did not transfer information to my new property manager. All of this I did in a professional manner as well. I am now seeking legal council to settle this.

I sincerely apologize for any confusion or frustration caused by the recent concerns about the work done at your house. I value your trust in our services and want to address your concerns clearly and professionally.
On the day you provided the new company’s information, I promptly sent all the necessary paperwork and followed up with a call to their office to ensure everything was in order. They confirmed that no additional information was needed from their end.
Regarding the work at your house, I recall our discussion about the condition of the property due to the previous work done by your father. You mentioned being on a budget and instructed us to focus on painting the downstairs area, leaving the upstairs as it was. We charged you only a fraction of the standard cost for that work, and after completion, you inspected the downstairs paint job and expressed your satisfaction.
A week later, you requested that we paint the upstairs, which included a 4-bedroom area with a large walk-in closet, two bathrooms, and hallways. I clarified that this would not be included in the original invoice, and we charged you only 30% of the typical cost for such an extensive job. When the new company contacted me about repairing the downstairs baseboards, I explained that the baseboards, which were damaged by your father’s work, were not part of our scope. Our team only handled painting and the installation of a wall and a bedroom door. The new company was surprised at how little we charged for the work completed, and after I explained the situation, they said they would discuss it with you.
You had verified and expressed satisfaction with the completed work at the time. I’m concerned to hear you now feel the job was done poorly, especially since the issues raised seem related to repairs we did not undertake, such as the baseboards. I’d be happy to discuss this further to understand your concerns and find a fair resolution.
