Introduction: Like many of my clients I have experienced life changing events. Finding positive, creative and most importantly individually sensitive treatment solutions will help people become their true selves. Neuroscience advances say that there is a direct connection between thoughts and good health, mentally and physically. My father was a psychiatrist and I worked in his practice before entering the media profession for twenty years. I am in mid-life and ready to return the lessons I've learned. I'm off the road and in an office and love helping others. My return to traditional counseling was through becoming credentialed to do media psychology and coaching for stage fright, image consulting, songwriting and copywriting. These skills remain a part of my practice and are valuable to help anyone become their authentic best. Helping people get past any negativity in their past and on to a more positive future.

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Yes, I stay up on current neuroscience research such as brain plasticity and mind mapping. Change your thoughts....Change your life!

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

People often come in adjusting to layers of issues that become overwhelming and cause anxiety, depression or both. Also trauma comes in many forms and immediate processing is needed. Think of solution focused brief cognitive behavioral therapy like this..... Most people look too far forward which causes anxiety. Some look to far in the past which causes depression. Then life is lived without enjoying the present. There is a reason that a rear view mirror is MUCH smaller than a windshield. We will work together to connect your past with the present so you can enjoy an authentic and self actualized future.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

The counselor or coach you choose should be one you feel comfortable with and one who helps you realize your goals and potential in a safe and authentic therapeutic environment. Be in nonjudgmental environment to live up to your full potential. Journaling, art and songwriting therapies are also available to expedite creative solutions.
