- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Each kind of document has a specific price. Remember, the fee covers the document only, not necessarily court fees or any other charges related to that. Ask and we will give you a complete breakdown of costs.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started in bankruptcy (Chapter 11) for businesses, but found that I got more satisfaction in consumer law--to help people get a fresh start, to forgive their debt mistakes.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look around and ask questions. See if the paralegal if familiar with the form you wish to create. Do they ask you questions? (If they don't, you do not have a capable legal preparer.)
