- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It really depends on the person and job and my availability. I have taken jobs where it wouldn't make any business sense to do so. However, I had the free time and I felt I could deliver something great to someone I thought needed it. However for the most part I try to keep everything based around time, how long will the shoot take, how long will editing take, etc. Those are the main factors to my pricing.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Your here for a very specific reason. You probably googled photography in this area for whatever need you have, so you are new to the process. I try to make this process as easy as possible. No hidden cost, or vague details, I want you to be comfortable and know you are in good hands.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
My first customer on Thumbtack was a family of eight down from Nebraska on vacation on Clearwater Beach. For less money than I care to admit I provided them with an amazing sunset photo shoot. Since then I have worked with countless families on vacation, local families, engagement sessions with couples, business professionals that needed head shots, product photography, commercial photography, editorial photography for major magazines, etc etc etc. I could go on and on, I literally have to be the most well rounded photographer in the area. I love to mix it up and provide my style to different customers, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
