- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Everything we do is pretty much based on time. We sit down with each client and go over their project requirements. During the discussion we make suggestions and put together a professional quote based on all the pieces and how long we believe each piece will take.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes. We attend many industry trade shows, read all the industry trade journals (our president is actually reference in many) and have internal training sessions. Students who come to work for us find an extensive on the job training program as well.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Our president worked for a technology company back in the early 90s. The company had an online technical section where clients could download user manuals, etc. In short, this area transitioned into an area where the company could upsell additional software programs, documents and more to clients. This became the beginning of the company's website. The next year the company did over $1,000,000 in sales that were attributed to add-ons by current clients.
