FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Prices are always reduced when my students buy a 10-class package. Also reduced prices are applied to students that join my group classes. A few times a year I provide a seminar with tools and tips of the professional trade of actors and you get a greatly reduced price at that too. My base rate is competitive within the market average rate. The value you will get for my class is worth trying it!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I get to learn who they are first and what their goals are. Is there an upcoming event or audition you are preparing for? Are you exploring a new hobby? Are you a professional who needs to keep your tools sharp? I also like working in a way that makes them happy personally. Trying out new performance pieces, doing fun improvisation exercises to develop a sense of confidence and readiness is great for every performer. Sometimes a student is very specific about what they want to prepare (a monologue, a song, a particular style of acting technique) and I love when they bring that because they come extra motivated.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been acting for more than 20 years. My formal education was abroad. I am a Stanislawsky trained actor who has studied other methods as well. I had a singing and acting career until before I had children. I started coaching other performers a few years ago and immediately fell in love with the craft. Other than my theater experience, I graduated from an Arts program, danced ballet until the age of 35 and took private piano lessons through my life, even having performed as a pianist. Currently I perform in theater and in improv groups in Miami.
