I am legally deaf and wear a BAHA bone anchored hearing aid to overcome my deafness and am able to hear. I have repaired it myself five times over the course of fourteen years. Last Saturday, my hearing aid has died once again. Upon troubleshooting, the cause of the failure was due to three wires have dislodged from their solder joints. I am completely deaf now and been working tirelessly until 2:00 AM every night the entire week trying to repair my aid. It was at that point I needed a micro-solder technician. First two businesses, waste of time texting back and forth, said they can do the work for the price they gave me THEN tell me to come on Tuesday, (this was on Friday). Saturday, still deaf, depressed I decided to give another try to find someone and......I did!!IT Group Solutions. Called them and informed them I am deaf, can we talk via WhatsApp. They agreed and so we did. Explained in detail my current situation, sent them pictures of my aid and the wires dislodged. Said they will text me back in 5 minutes, need to discuss with the technician to see if he can repair, he could. Gave me a price, asked if I can come today since I desperately want to hear again, they said OK.Arrived at the store, was greeted by a woman at the front desk with a nice smile, hand gestured to her that I can not hear and she was so wonderful to understand and instantly chose a different way to communicate with me. After five minutes, was told to have a seat and the technician will see me in soon. I thought she was very professional, pleasant and I was grateful she understood my situation. Very nice and clean establishment I might add.As I was waiting, I was a nervous wreck praying and hoping my aid will come back to life since this type of hearing aid is very very sophisticated and very expensive. A new one cost between seven and fifteen thousand dollars. Twenty minutes later, was greeted by Daikel. Using hand gestures to explain and show pics of what is need to be repaired. He then took my aid to the back to perform the work. I did not know him, wasn't sure if I could trust he knew what he was doing, all the doubts I had in my head and sitting there like my child was in surgery.He came out, this was at 5:05pm, they close at 5:00pm. He explained in full detail the work he did and to me, that is a major plus. That's the kind of service I always want and appreciate. Another technician stayed with us and asked if I was going to assemble the hearing aid back together myself and said yes, I will do it when I get home. Daikel ended up assembling my hearing aid right there on the spot and thought to myself, this is great since I'm dying to see if it came back alive and so, it did!! I was so happy, I cried because I was able to hear again thanks to Daikel.He is the most kind, caring, dedicated and humble man. It was way past 5:00pm, he wasn't in a rush to go home and would not go home until I was satisfied with everything in which I wasn't satisfied. I was EXTREMELY satisfied! The other technician that also stayed was a kind young man as well. I felt comfortable associating with them two being professional and knowledgeable.IT Group staff, especially Daikel has without a doubt, exceeded my expectations. I am very picky of who I choose to do business with and am so grateful I was able to come across this business when searching on Yelp. Trust me when I say theres a big difference when one brings in a laptop, game console, etc.. to be repaired in which either it can, or can't. No biggie, just buy a new one THAN someone bringing in their defective hearing aid while being totally deaf at the moment, sitting there while being repaired not knowing if you will continue to be deaf if turned out to an unrepairable device in which you go back out into the silent world.Time for all three of us to go home, Daikel reached his hand out for me to shake, I did and then without thinking, I just hugged him. THAT alone describes the ethics of this business!OUTSTANDING!! Will never forget since I will be coming back!!
