This contractor blocked my wifes number after hire him for to repair and replace our A/C unit in our apartment. At first he missed diagnosed the problem with unit 1st he said that it was the motor in the unit and the Compressor which cost us $380. And do not fix the problem. He did very check to see if the A/C unit was bellowing cool air. All he said let the ac run and it should start cooling. Once I got home the ac was where it started not cooling. Then I called him telling him the ac is not cooling. Mind you all I have a 2 month old baby in the home this hole time the ac is not working , the owner which is the guy who comes states to me. You never told me the ac is not cooling. That was the first thing I told him when I mad the first call plus I also advised him the the ac was frozen the night before. The whole time hes replacing the motor and the compressor he does not think to go see the unit in the roof. That should have been the first sign to me that he was not doing the corrects to diagnose process. Then, the contractor gets to the apartment between 7:30 to 8:00 asking to get access to the roof to inspector the roof this should have been done in the initial visit. At this time the roof is locked since the association has a new time frame to access the roof. Then the following day I request from the contractor to provide the following document in order to gain access to the roof. This take half of the day to obtain. Finally, the contractor gets access to the roof and he diagnose the problem there is a leak and the Freon is leaking and that is why the ac is not cooling. You have replace the whole unit inside and out. Mind you he changed the motor and compressor. And this is his diagnose. Ok I said ok. Lets do it but do you do financing and goes yes. He comes to my house on Thursday to do the paperwork including permit and the application for the credit to finance the project. Which he quoted $4000 for the cheap brand and $4500 to the high end one. This was including everything so he said. While we are filling out the paperwork he advises me that he will be by the house tomorrow Friday to put Freon in the unit on the roof for the weekend. The results come in I am not approved for the financing. I ask him what do we do in this case he goes dont worry I have another credit company. But dont worry this will be done you will have ac by next week just get me the permit signed and notarized. Which I did. Guess when I try to text him to advise him he ends up blocking me. Instead of calling me and just let me know that he does not have another credit company. This man is dishonest. Do not hire him. Yet he still cashes the check for not fixing the ac and just guessing a fix. I located this contractor from Angies list and HomeAdvisor.Hello thank you for your reply, but it was never in question that the unit was old. I believe on the first you care to our apartment and you started that the motor needed to be replace my wife suggested to replace the whole and replied to her no. I have uploaded a photo from my wifes phone showing where you blocked her phone. She attempted to call you right after but once you block someone the call does not register. What got me mad is that you sent my wife in a fools errands obtaining the permit sign to begin work. Also, if you notice your company number is show on the block message. And yes we did not get approved with your finance company but guess what my wife went out and found financing to pay you with but her going those replies from your company really break her down and she was crying she was worried about our two boys ( 2 month old baby and our 10 year son who has health issues and can not be in heat). I Am sorry but you were in our home since 6 am in the morning on the first visit. In no time in that initial visit did you ask to go to the roof. Only when My wife called you again late at night and by then it was to late since the association had closed the roof. I do not penalize you for the issues with association.

Dear customer, we do not block phone numbers we are a public company and expect high ratings since our goal is to go above and beyond. Unit is fairly old which carries R22. First visit blower motor for the inside ventaltion wasn't working so we was able to fix it. Due to association we couldn't do a full diagnose since it was after hours for the office . Second visit we was able to determine unit was low on gas. We of course offered to replace unit using finance. We apologise you didn't get approved. This is the first low rating review.
