Introduction: Hi there, my name is Brittni! I am a Florida native (although I spent many years in Los Angeles) and I am currently serving those in need of energy healing in the South Miami area. I am a certified Reiki Practitioner, and it is my honor and privilege to facilitate you through your healing experience. I say facilitate because each and every one of us has the ability to heal our own bodies. Reiki helps awaken those healing powers within us that lie dormant and untapped. I like to tell my clients that it is like a dirty pool or muddy river, that when we clean it or stir the water, the mud or sediment that lies at the bottom floats to the top and surfaces. In Reiki we are trying to clear or skim the "dirt" (the unprocessed emotions and energy stored in our bodies) from the top and release it. Our bodies remember everything, and when we don't fully process traumas, emotions, and energies, they get stuck, causing disharmony and wreaking havoc within our bodies. Energies become stagnant and toxins build up. They manifest in physical ailments and dis-ease. Even if we don't remember these traumas or emotional disturbances, they are there. But just like when you are cleaning the pool or watching the river, the surface can appear to be clear, yet the debris you were unable to remove settles back to the bottom. Healing is a journey and it is important to repeat the process enough times so that you are able to release as much as possible, until eventually you are a clear and beautiful stream, flowing through and around life, not getting caught up by old wounds and triggers within you.
