Pricing for design and staging vary depending on the amount of rooms that need to be styled and the total time spent on the project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually schedule a phone call to find out more about the project and if it is a fit for us. Then we set a day and time for an in-home 90 min. consultation which allows me to see the space live and make my notes about layout, decor, colors, style etc. From there I prepare an estimate for the project and send it to the client within 24hrs. of my first visit. After the client approves the estimate I start sourcing the elements, furniture and accessories for the design (or staging) and prepare a mood-board with pictures which is sent to the client for visualization and final approval on the concept.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received my BA in Interior Design from the Berlin International University of Applied Sciences in Berlin, Germany. I worked in Interior Design for 4 yrs. while in Germany until I decided to come live permanently to the United States. Once in USA I came to Miami and went to 1 yr. to University of Miami for an Interior Design Certificate and 4 more yrs. to Miami International University for BA in Fine Arts with a minor in Interior Design.
