Introduction: My work stands out from others because of a few reasons. First, my relational skills. I have a gift of listening, understanding customers, communicating and connecting. This is a very critical skill set for any project! Second, my passion. I believe passion prevails in the workplace and for me, interior design literally fires me up! Last and most important, I am ethical and trustworthy. I am responsive, responsible, and believe in doing the right thing for customers, no matter the cost. What I love about interiors is the simplicity of creating a space that a person, people, a family come home to and love and truly feel at home. Ann helped me rearrange my living room and create a gallery wall. I have a large living room space in my Chicago apartment, but had my furniture too spread out. Within a few minutes of Ann walking in she had so many ideas of different ways to rethink the space that I had never thought of. We moved things to break up the space that makes it feel homier and thoughtfully designed. And then my FAVORITE part of my apartment now is the gallery wall that Ann helped me craft. With many different frames and textured prints and additions to the wall, it makes for a unique wall in my apartment that people always comment on the second they walk in! Ann is basically the best; she has a fabulous creative eye and energy that makes working with her easy and fun!

I could simply say, HIRE HER and leave it at that, but then you would have to trust me, which you can! Ann was absolutely incredible. I gave her free reign to completely redesign the entire first floor of my home...all seven spaces! She did her research, finding out what both my husband and I liked, didn't like, color schemes, styles, etc. She worked with our budget, then dove in to make the space functional, personal and absolutely beautiful! The best part is that she was completely hands on...literally spent more time in my home than we did and SURPRISED us with the finished product when we returned from a family vacation. I cried I was so blown away. You will be too. Do it. Enough said. She is the BEST.

Ann is such a pleasure to work with! I recently moved into a new home and she helped me with two of my rooms. After listening to what I felt was missing in my living room, she offered great suggestions on how to bring the space together with my existing furniture to create the feel I wanted. For my bedroom, I have 15ft ceilings which I love, but I was struggling to create the right ambiance. She walked in and right away started to visualize all these great suggestions. She then followed up with links to pieces to consider. Well, I am thrilled that the final piece she suggested, my 7 ft floor mirror, was delivered today and it is perfect. Thank you AnnI love it!

Inviting someone into your house to help you decorate is really stressful. This stranger who knows nothing about you is coming into your home to tell you how to change everything to make it "you." Needless to say, I was pretty nervous when it actually got to hiring a decorator. I shouldn't have been nervous! Ann is AMAZING!!! I really just needed help with little nitty gritty things (window coverings, rugs, and arranging a gallery wall) Ann came in and it was like having a friend help decorate your house. She got a good feel for my style and my likes and dislikes and made suggestions from there. We discussed options and she really listened to my opinions. I was afraid that Ann would say, "I'm the decorator, this is how you need to do things" and that never happened! She really understood that this is my home and it needs to reflect me. Ann helped me decide to actually change my accent wall from red to blue and it looks amazing! She has also taken plenty of time to look for curtains and rugs for me. I have e-mailed her many times in a panic about curtains and she always responds quickly and with help. Ann has also helped me realize that decorating is a process and it evolves over time. You don't need to change everything at once. In short: Ann is awesome! She really makes you feel like a friend. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Not formal education, but, I am constantly studying design, interior designers, reading blogs, publications and watching various TV shows to further my skill set.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
It has been a passion of mine since I was around 10 years old. Rearranging my bedroom was the highlight of my year back then! I know the feeling of living in a home you love. That's what drives me and makes me want to work for people.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I specialize in room refreshes and decorating updates. I help curate art and use existing pieces as well as new to make a home go from good to great. I can provide resources and recommendations over email, phone or in person so I am flexible in my approach for the job. I create wall galleries, source flooring, curate existing home furnishings in new ways, home staging for sales, pick paint colors and the list goes on!
