I hired BLVD Moving LLC for a small move between two storage units from Salem, OR to Tallahassee, FL. It wasn’t a big job, but they still sent a full crew. Everything was stacked perfectly in the new unit, saving me a lot of space. Herbert double-checked the locks before leaving.

On June 29th 2025, this Moving company by the name of BLVD Moving company came to my house in west Palm Beach Florida to pickup those Items: my king size bed, 2 twins size bed 2 TV on a china, with 3 black and yellow lids tugs and two large boxes of glass dishes to deliver them to St.Louis Missouri. Before they even came I was referred to them by thumbtack as a good moving company on June 26th, 2025. That same day I gave them a deposit for $850 via my bank card so that they can put me on the schedule for my stuff to be picked up within 2-3 days per the person that I had spoke to on the 26th of June ,2025. On June 27, 28 and 29 multiples different numbers and people calling me saying that they are with BLVD Moving company calling about scheduling pick up day for my items to get picked up and also that’s when someone will mentioned to me that I will need to Zelle them another $850 in other for that to happened I asked why? He said that’s the only way the will accept payment I told him that I do not believe that because yesterday I made a payment with someone over the phone with my debit card he said ok I’m all set someone will be coming on Sunday June 29,2025 for my items. Exactly that Sunday at 1:30 pm 3 person came to my house to pick up’s my belongings and that’s where all he’ll started braking loose with them. They ask me to Zelle them $850 as a pick up fee on top of my $850 deposit fee that they already have on their hands already; when I attempt to Zelle with the email that was provided to me by them Zelle Flagged it and the money didn’t go through because they wanted me to identify them and myself even though I called to identify me Zelle and my bank said no. So they said you can get me a check or money order I said ok. I wrote a check to one of the guys that came to pickup my stuff he said that ohh we don’t accept personal checks can you do money order instead please I said no then he took the check and left with my stuff with no problem, on July 2 , 2025 a lady called me saying that she was from the same company that the check didn’t go thru I asked her when did she deposit it she could answered them said that she will retry to deposit the check till today there’s no proof from my bank that the check was ever deposited but now they are asking me to Zelle them another $850 so that I can get my items when I asked for the check the refuse to give it back asked them for my items back they are refusing that also. I went and called the bank about the check they can’t find no trace of the check deposit or return

First and foremost, we want to clarify that Zelle is an independent third-party payment platform and not something we directly manage or control. If a payment is flagged, delayed, or declined by Zelle or your bank, unfortunately, that decision is made by their internal security and fraud prevention systems — not by BLVD Moving. That said, it’s concerning to hear that there has been confusion and inconsistency in communications regarding payments and pickup. We take claims like this seriously and are currently reviewing the details internally. In the meantime, we’d like to clarify a few key points: Your initial deposit of $850 via debit card was received on June 26, 2025, to schedule the pickup. A second payment of $850 was requested at the time of pickup on June 29, which you attempted to send via Zelle, but it was flagged. A personal check was then provided to our movers, but we are now informed that the check has not cleared or may not have been deposited at all. At this point, your items are currently being held due to incomplete payment, which is why the delivery process has not been finalized. While we understand your frustration, payment must be completed before your belongings can be released. We recommend checking again with your bank regarding the status of the check. If you'd like to avoid using Zelle, we can provide alternative payment methods, such as a cashier’s check, money order, or another verified digital platform we accept.
