Introduction: I absolutely love the interaction I have with my clients during a shoot. For me, it's about the experience and how my client feels during their time with me. At the beginning of a shoot, it's natural for the nerves of my subject(s) (especially the hubbies!) to be a bit a rattled. Let's face it, who, on a regular basis, has a tall girl with a big grin, camera in hand, up in their faces? Not me! So, I know how you feel. Trust me when I say not even half way through everyone has gotten their bearings and my clients always rock their shoots! This goes for that (almost always) reluctant husband and that timid toddler.

I have had the pleasure of working with Shannon Decole Photography for two different photo shoots. Both times, Ms. Whit was prompt and very professional. Her ability to capture her subjects at their most natural is amazing. She captured the essence of who my children are and presented me with memories of both of them at play of which I will cherish for years. I love watching her interact with my children, draw them out of their shells, and bring out their natural smiles. The photos that I was provided from the photo shoot were of first rate quality and were given to me in a timely manner. I highly recommend Ms. Whit; she is a professional, and talented photographer.

I've did about 3 sessions and it was a great experience very professional and absolutely love the pictures also pleased at how she took her time with 2 toddlers Ive recommended her to all my family and friends

Shannon photographed my boudoir session and she was very professional from start to end and prepared me well for the shoot. She made me feel very comfortable during the shoot, had great ideas, and I am EXTREMELY happy with the photos I received!

In my experience with Shannon I've inly received upmost respect, detailed explanation of her purpose for the shoot, her life-long passion for photography and things she'd like to accomplish in general. She's so easy to work with and makes me feel completely comfortable. I love the way she makes it a point to capture a story just by clicking a button and of course everything she does before that. Shannon is a great photography director and I'd recommend her to my best of friends because I know she's going to please them.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
To ensure that I customize a session that best represents my client's personality (and all other participants), I try to find out as much about him/hear/them as I can.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am forever continuing my education. DAILY. I attend conferences, workshops, meet and greets, network with other photographers, am active in social media photography groups and more. I continue to attend photography conferences throughout the U.S.
