Agree with the other bad review! After being already behind on invoicing, I reached out to Karen. She agreed to help me with a guarantee that she could get me caught up. After weeks of back and forth emails, text and every excuse under the sun I still have not received what she had agreed to complete. I finally received the invoices via google doc and was happy to get them, although upon opening them, they were completely blank and not completed. Dissatisfied is an understatement. Her excuses spanned from connectivity issues, to file format via email wrong. I’m a millennial and work remotely so such excuses are a dying breed. Don’t trust her in a pinch. As I sit here writing this review, I am completing the incomplete invoices she had promised. Never received anything promised and not she will not respond to me via email, phone or text. I feel like I almost got scammed and she was going to submit my invoices for me with a new “payment to” address for the checks. Beware.

Celina, I apologize that you are not satisfied with the level of service that you were provided. However, I feel that the accusations and assumptions that you have noted in your review are inaccurate and unfair. The other review was a completely different scenario. In that contract there were multiple email addresses being used that were no longer active and emails were being returned. While completing your work,, I was experiencing network issues due to tornadic activity in our area from massive storms that affected not just me, but the entire east coast. Millennial or not, when the network is down, it is down. This work was already behind, as you stated in your review, when I got it. You sent me handwritten sheets of notebook paper, that were barely legible, to convert to open office documents. I completed this work for you, as agreed and sent it to the same email address that we had been communicating with from the time of our first discussion. I never stated that I had an incorrect email. I have responded to you in every way that you have contacted me - email, phone and text, including after-hours communications. You stated that you did not receive the invoices and requested that I send them in Google Docs. I completed the work once again in Google Docs. I To accommodate for the network issue, I agreed to complete 2 months worth of invoices for you, at no charge. For you to say that you feel like you would have been scammed is absolutely ridiculous! I am the one who feels as if they have been scammed! I completed this work for you, in two different formats, and received no compensation for the work that was done. Also, the statement that you made: that you thought that I was going to submit your invoices with a new "payment to" address for the checks is outrageous!! I hold myself and my business to the highest ethical standards. If you were unsatisfied with my services, you have every right to voice your thoughts. However, making accusatory statements that I am a possible scammer that would engage in criminal and unethical behavior, is unacceptable! Being that you are a millennial, you may not be old enough or have not been in business long enough to know the damage that these types of false statements can have on a business's and an individual's reputation.

After 3 weeks, and several missed deadlines and broken promises, I’ve decided to terminate my contract. I had such high hopes because I was told there were so many things that could be done for my businesses, but I do not have time to constantly follow up on assigned tasks and cannot continue to miss deadlines. I’m behind three weeks waiting on deliverables that I requested from day one. I know everyone is going through difficult times, and I tried to be patient and understanding, but even after being given a second chance, we missed more deadlines and I have nothing to show for it.

Julia, I am sorry that our working relationship did not work out for you. I would like to make a few suggestions if you are considering using another VA in the future. If you are going to continue to use multiple email addresses for deliverables, you may want to make sure that the emails are functioning properly. This way the emails, that have the deliverables attached, are not being returned as undeliverable. Also, you may want to make sure that your requests and deadlines are clear. This would eliminate the need to micro-manage th work being done. Make the requirements clear, delegate, and leave the work to the VA to complete. I sent you the deliverables that you requested of me, some of which have been returned to me multiple times stating that there is an issue with the email address, leaving the email undeliverable and having to be sent more than once. I wish you the best in your future endeavors.

    I have many different pricing options available to all of my clients. Hourly, Monthly, and Task Pricing available. I offer custom packages and financing on larger projects.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    I work with my client's specific needs and deadlines. The two basic things that I need to know are: What you need done or are trying to accomplish When you need it done/deadline Once I know these these, then I will work with my client to devise a plan that meets their needs and budget. After agreeing to a price and deadline, I confirm my client's contact preferences so that I can provide updates on progress and reports, as required. I require minimal to no supervision. I have the ability to work well independently. Once work commences, I will provide updates and reports. I will request information, when needed. I look forward to working with you.
