- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask the hard questions. does a dj know how to read a crowd?. does he know when to play a request and when a request is NOT inline with the venues intent? a prime question of experience is how many times has he lost a dance floor in a club over the years?. (it usually happens early in your dj career), if he says never he is a liar, or even worse He is boring template cheese dj which indicates has no experience in pushing the edge or sound and staying relevant and then taken it back a notch for the older folks and reading the floor. and sometimes music events are not for dancing but for listening.
