This is a company that has poor communication. I would not hire them again - not because of their mistake (being over an out late) but because they compounded their mistakes with lies.
Scheduled through thumbtack for arrival at 10:00 AM (I had an open house at 12:00). Was clear about my needs. At 10:15 contacted to make sure all was okay, no response.
Finally at after 11 I receive a call they are on their way. Then “they’ll be there in 5 minutes”. Finally arrived at 11:35!!!! Worked until 12:20 and wanted to charge me $150.
They then lowered the price to $100. Had they told me at any time. Let’s do the math - originally charging 2 hours (120 minutes) of cleaning $150, that equates to $1.25 per minute. They were there 45 minutes (20 of which I had an open house going on at the time!!!) which should have been charged $56…
Regardless of them being late I would have paid them the full amount should they have gotten it done. They did not do the work in the requested time frame. Very, very disappointing.
