- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Many people often undervalue or don't understand the complexity of what a really good writer/editor does. Please know that working with words is a talent and finely honed skill, just as much as any other profession. You can say, "Well, it's not rocket science," but when was the last time you read, understood and actually enjoyed something a rocket scientist wrote?
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes! As does anyone who wants to stay on top, I network with local business professionals, subscribe to cutting-edge professional newsletters and read voraciously, any writing advice publications on which I can get my hands.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Following a dream, or a nightmare really, in fourth grade I was able to relate the story in such a way that I was chosen as one of three winners in a school tall tale essay contest. My story of space aliens vs the family dog was published in the local newspaper. I've been writing ever since.
