Our Reem A/C System is date stamped 1996. I'm writing this rating on 8/29/13 from Clearwater, Florida - a suburb of Tampa. It gets unbearably hot/humid here in the summer. I've had several other A/C service companies for repairs, and every single one of them - EXCEPT JRC SERVICES, INC., advised me that we needed a new system ($5,000). James Christenson, the owner/founder of JRC Services, Inc., is the only technician who stated, "This REEM A/C unit is built like a tank with stainless steel sleeves in the compressor. It will go forever". James didn't hesitate to identify the problem with our A/C unit on the first call - and he fixed it. Our unit had been hit by lightening. Bottom Line: If you're looking for an honest, professional, expert A/C professional who looks out for your best interests every step of the way, there is simply no better choice than JRC Services. James Christenson is best described as a "Thermo-Dynamics Engineer". His hobby is studying physics. Finally, there is someone in the A/C business you can trust and rely on. What a breath of fresh air! So many of the other A/C companies are scam artists. Not so with JRC Services. Don't hesitate - call JRC Services for your home heating and air-conditioning needs. You won't find a better company to do business with!

It was 92 degrees in the home I just purchased and one air conditioning company had told me I needed to replace my air conditioner which would have been $5,000. So then I saw JRC Services on Thumbtack. When I first met James, he put me at ease with his experience and ability to repair my air system. He let me know the air conditioner was basically good and he wanted to do the repair. He started working the very next day. My house is now cool. It was not expensive and I am very pleased with the work James did. He is honest. He did a great job!!!!!

Quick, response. Same day service. Seemed very well versed in AC repair. Our drainage from unit was leaking into garage and made a river through our garage. It has only been one day but so far the river has run dry. Thanks JRC!

James came out within an hour of having called him! Found the problem, fixed it, serviced my unit, and gave pointers on how to best handle the A/C to save money in the future. I will be having JRC perform annual maintenance on our system going forward! Very pleased with the service.

Service and preventative maintenance. We perform many repairs on air conditioning and home appliances. And we perform annual service and maintenance in an effort to reduce equipment break downs and save our customers on energy cost by keeping there major home appliances operating correctly and energy efficient.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I do my best to always advise my customers in their best interest. There is nothing more rewarding then advising a customer and they take that advise and say to you. "I am going to hold you to your word" and then after you do the work for them and upon return to see them, they say to you thank you, I am saving on my energy and getting the full potential of my investment in my home comfort.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Always ask to see certifications for trade and local or state license.
