Introduction: My name is Laura Molennor, and I am a team of one. I am a graphic/web designer in the Tampa bay area and being a team of one allows me to provide personalized, one on one service. I take time to listen to my clients, getting to know their likes and dislikes and hear their ideas, then build on those to provide the client with a customized solution. I like to build long term relationships of trust with my clients, so they can be at ease in knowing they will receive the best possible design service from me. I have 9 years of experience in the design world. My primary work is through my employer, Tindale Oliver, a planning, engineering and design company. This has been invaluable in allowing me to become proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud and quick turnarounds on projects. I take great pride to my attention of detail and great communication! I enjoy meeting with my clients, getting to know their likes/dislikes and understanding their vision for the project. People are drawn to visuals, so I like to use lots of color. I pay very close attention to every detail to ensure there is nothing distracting that takes away from the finished product.

Our company was in need of a logo update. I contacted her, letting her know our situation, turn time, and ideas. She did a great job getting us some different options and variations within those options. Laura was timely, had great communication, and always delivered when she said she would-setting great expectations :-)

We hired Laura Molennor Design Services to take our basic engineering spreadsheets, and create an 11x17 "aesthetically pleasing" document that we could present to our client. We were unsure of what we actually wanted, and as we went back and forth with revisions and opinions, Laura was very accommodating and patient. And to top it off, with only a few days left before our presentation, we requested that she "beautify" another three spreadsheets, ultimately combining them into one image. Again, she came through. She was a pleasure to work with.

FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I like to set up a face to face introductory meeting. I think it's a great way to get to know my potential client, listen to their expectations and vision for the project. After the initial meeting, I'll send a copy of the design agreement to be signed.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Graphic Design. I have also completed a couple of courses in Web Design (CSS and Responsive Design).

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

I work with clients of any size, with one of my largest clients being the Florida Department of Transportation – District 7. I’ve created statewide safety campaigns for them since 2008.
