Introduction: Greetings, my name is Ryan Taite and my company is Test Mold Today. I am licensed (MSRA 3670) and insured Mold Assessor. I specialize in unbiased testing, whereas other companies offer both testing and mold removal, we differ in that as a company we only do air/surface sampling for Mold and so therefore you can count on me to get accurate results. Beyond simply testing for Mold, it's my goal to find out what the source of any elevated mold is, and I will do my best to make sure that you are put on a path to not only removing the mold but also finding the root cause of the mold growth, so there is no reoccurrence. To do so, I use top of the line thermography (Thermal Imaging) and moisture detection tools. And document everything for you.
When conducting a Limited Mold Inspection we will collect both air and surface samples as per the Client's areas of concern, which may be limited area(s) of the clients property. These services start at $400 and include a visual inspection of the property and HVAC components to find the source of mold growth, and includes 2 air samples - additional samples may be conducted at client's request for $100 per additional sample. This service is ideal if either if you want a general idea of the air quality in specific areas of your home, or are looking to conduct clearance testing after remediation has been completed to make sure that remediation has been completed properly.
A full mold assessment involves the Mold Assessor taking many samples as deemed necessary to be able to document and speak to the entirety of the property, and building systems (air conditioning system). Also included is a full moisture mapping of the entire property using thermography. For $750, this service includes up to 6 samples and is ideal if you want a complete analysis of your property, or are seeking to get documentation on as many areas of a property as necessary. If you request or its determined that more than 6 samples are needed to fulfill your requirements, $100 per additional sample will apply.

If we conduct any air sampling in a property, a sample of air outside of the property will be required as a baseline for comparison with sampling conducted inside the property.
We offer next day results and reporting, if inspection was completed before 2pm or same day results for an additional fee. After lab results return, we either let you know that the area(s) tested are clear of elevated mold levels, or create a Mold Remediation report that guides professional remediators in safely removing contaminated material and cleaning the air of mold. If contracted, and for a separate fee, we will come back to the property after remediation is completed and re-test areas that previously tested for elevated mold in order to confirm that proper remediation techniques have been implemented, and that the building occupants can safely return to the previously contaminated building areas.
