FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing depends on the scope of the job, the materials chosen, and the condition of what we're working with. I provide free, itemized estimates up front so you know exactly where your money is going — no hidden fees or surprises. I offer options at different price points when possible and can phase larger projects to fit your budget.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It starts with a conversation about what you're looking for, followed by a walkthrough of the space. I inspect the existing conditions and flag anything that needs to be handled before the main work — moisture, rot, or framing issues. Then I provide a written estimate and timeline. Once we agree, I schedule the work, keep you updated throughout, and do a final walkthrough with you before the job is considered complete.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over a decade of hands-on experience in general handyman work and contracting, and I'm both licensed and insured. I've built my skills project by project in the field and stay current on materials and best practices so every job holds up over time.
