Mr. Minnick is an unreliable business man with a lack of ethics and character and should not be trusted or hired in any situation.
I hired him to trim 7 trees. Since it was raining heavily that day and his crew was ready to leave I didnt get a good look at their work until the next day.
The next day I sent Mr. Minnick pictures and asked him if he felt the work was satisfactory.
His response was Yes the bottlebrush has one leader higher in structural pruning its called the dominant leader, yours looks like that cause when you topped it four to five watersprouts come out of each one instead of regularly growing limbs that have all their parts so they function correctly. I can even them up better till next week. Ok? But then we are back to treating them like bushs. The ligustriums are gonna look different cause the magnolus in the middle is dominant and they are all interfering with each other but I thought they could use a little more taken out of them so Ill get back there asap. But to be honest it might not be until next week
Mr. Minnick never showed up to do what he said he would do. We communicated quite often and he made several promises but never showed up to do what he said he would do.
My recommendation if you do use him is to only pay part of his fee until you are sure he has done the job correctly and you are completely satisfied.

This man is full of it. When we left it was raining but he walked the whole property with me. He shook my hand after i did go back and take some more out of his ligustriums and explained to him that taking more than 40% of any trees foliage will more than likely shock the tree and possibly lead to death. When he called several times my response was always the same that i am a certified arborist and im not in the business of killing trees. Some customers think the more you take from a tree the better deal they are getting and the longer time span til they will trim again. Totally untrue. I did trim 7 trees for this man but he forgot to mention i charged him for 5. As my crew and i were leaving he was in his neighbors driveway recommending us and waving as we drove away. I tried to get a weeding job from him as his beds looked like they had been ignored for years. Thank god he didnt hire me for he would have expected me to do it three times but only pay once.Type your response to this review.
