FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our entire business is built on an Upfront, Flat-Rate Pricing model to ensure you never have to worry about surprise fees. Our process is simple and transparent: For work that requires on-site troubleshooting and diagnosis: There is a set service fee, which we will confirm with you upfront. This fee covers the travel and professional time required to accurately identify the problem. Once the issue is diagnosed, I will provide you with a guaranteed, flat-rate quote for the complete repair or solution. For defined projects and installations: When the scope of work is clear (like TV mounting or furniture assembly), we can often provide a firm, flat-rate quote directly through Thumbtack based on the details you provide. No matter the job, the price we quote is the final price you pay. No exceptions, no hidden fees.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We make the process simple and transparent from start to finish: Quote & Approval: We'll discuss your project here on Thumbtack to provide a clear, flat-rate quote. Easy Scheduling: We'll find a convenient time that works for you, offering same-day or next-day service whenever possible. Professional Service: As the owner, I perform every job personally. I'll arrive on time, clearly explain the work, and treat your home with respect. Job Completion: We ensure the work is done to the highest standard and confirm you are 100% satisfied before we consider the job complete.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My expertise comes from a combination of formal training and over 15 years of hands-on, real-world experience. Our business began in Maryland as a top-tier maintenance contractor, which provided a strong foundation in professional standards and complex problem-solving. I continually update my skills and knowledge on the latest appliance and home system technologies to ensure I can provide the most effective and efficient service.
