- How did you get started doing this type of work?
It kind of "just happened". I fell in love with the luxurious aspect of these natural stones. God is certainly a master designer with an incredible eye for beauty.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Most of the times, we fabricate & install new granite countertops in the client's kitchen. A lot of times they'll want new matching tops in the bathroom as well.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I wish customers could read my mind. I really do. I see so many companies & sales people lying to customers about anything and everything just to close a sale and squeeze every penny out of them, that it makes me sick to my stomach. People these days are skeptical of businesses, and I don't blame them! If people could read my mind, they'd knew that yes, I want to make a living, but not at the expense of selling out my soul for a buck. If I can save the customer some money, I'm happy to. For example, other granite companies will tell the client that they must purchase a new sink when getting new countertops. BS! While it is recommended, it's not required, the customer can keep their current ones if they so desire and save some money.
