- How did you get started doing this type of work?
It was an easy decision since I was always toting around a camera since an early age. As a child I remember telling everyone that my goals in life were to be an Olympic gymnast, Veterinarian and Photographer. Alas, I did not become an Olympic Gymnast or Veterinarian, but decided to combine two of those passions (animals & photography) into one. The gymnast part comes in handy sometimes when trying to photograph kids and animals though :)
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I oftentimes take photos at our local shelter so that they have nice photographs of their dogs for their website and for marketing materials. My heart skips a beat when I'm editing the photos of those special dogs. Each one has such a unique personality and I do my best to capture that in the photos that are presented to the public.
