Rand did a fantastic job painting my bathroom. He was at the job on time and charged a very fair rate. His eye for color is amazing. His attention to detail is impressive and he was tidy. I would hire him again and would recommend him for sure!

Rand is set the standard for professionalism. He was very responsive during the planning phase. He was thorough when he came to do the estimate. During the painting he was a perfectionist, double and triple checking everything. Then he took extra time to recap and explain the process he used. It was a pleasure to do business with him. I am a very picky person. Rand from Top Coats was faced with the job of painting after my home as flooded, and had extensive plumbing and drywall repair. He did an excellent job with the painting, matching existing paints, using my old paint where possible, and covering the damaged, stained ceilings and walls. Additionally, he was extremely neat and went out of his way to clean up areas that had nothing to do with his painting. It was easy to schedule the work with Rand, he was responsive to all my suggestions, and a delight to have working in my home. I would use Rand again, and highly recommend Top Coats for your painting needs.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I always base/match my pricing to the lowest national average price per square foot
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to provide new clients with an estimate based on an average size room (12'x14'). Should a client request my services, I will then visit the property and make any +/- adjustments with customer. Once we agree on a quote I can start that day.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been painting my own and others properties for decades. My profession and degree is actually a BA in graphic design and illustration. I bring the same attention to detail to any job I do, as if I were doing a portrait of one of my loved ones or yours.
