- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Talk to a few coaches to make sure you get the coach that is right for you. Trust in the process, you will know when you have found the right one. I would avoid coaches who do not offer complimentary initial consultations, either over the phone or in person. If you have a mental disorder, coaching is not an alternative to therapy. If you have been diagnosed with depression or any other disorder it does not rule out coaching all together. Many coaches can work with therapists to help clients achieve greater success in implementing new skills.
