I would like to start out by saying that I am a makeup artist, and I have been for over 20 years. I live in the D.C. area, so finding a makeup artist in Lakeland was challenging. I turned to Thumbtack, and put in a request. Lauren contacted me immediately. She sent me a wonderful message. None of the other vendors did this. I immediately trusted her. I looked at her website and became even more comfortable. On the day of the wedding, she was early. She did her magic on my mother in law, and then it was my turn. I couldn't stop staring at myself. I looked stunning. I could have easily passed as a celebrity! My daughters were amazed! They cried when they saw what she had done. Lauren applied individual lashes that lasted all night, which only took her 5 minutes to put on! My mother in law could have passed as a "first lady". Oh, she airbrushed my makeup. This came in handy when it started to sprinkle rain outside. My hair was gorgeous! Last minute, she incorporated a diamond necklace into my hair which was a perfect tiara. Lauren is amazing. If you want someone that knows her stuff.... Lauren is your girl! My day was perfect because of her magic, and I will always be grateful to her!!

I would give 10 stars if I could. Lauren is so talented. I was on stage and the big screen at the Orange County Convention Center and have never gotten so many compliments on my hair and makeup. She is also just so nice - best makeup and hair experience I've ever had.

She was so professional punctual eased all my fears of not wanting to look like a clown with makeup on. My make up was flawless. Had reservations because of ethnicity but it by far supercede my expectations if you have a chance to hire her do it she does amazing work. You will surely be the star of the day.

I recently used Lauren for my chapel / country club wedding in Orlando, and was BEYOND impressed. She did both hair and makeup for me, and her ability to match the results with my requests was awesome. I was able to talk with her at the trial about what I wanted in regards to hairstyle and some of my favorite makeup looks, and she combined them to create a look that was perfect for me; not too heavy, but still elegant and noticeable enough in pictures.
Lauren is incredibly qualified and knowledgable in this field, with a heck of a portfolio of experiences/past jobs. She is kind and completely laid back, but a perfectionist in all the right areas.
Such a pleasure to work with her!
