UPDATE: It's been more than 2 years now and Gita is still with us! Both of my kids get A's in math! They've kept up their Math studies with her via regular zoom meetings throughout the pandemic. Now in the 8th grade, math is the ONLY subject in which each still excels. Gita is AWESOME and my kids love her so much they even miss her when we are on academic breaks. I only wish I could find someone like Gita for other subjects. I'm hopeful Gita stays with us for several years to come! --- Gita is a great tutor. She’s reliable, committed, patient and thorough. In very happy to have hired her.

I approach engaging Ms. Gita Prihatini to tutor my 13 year old daughter math with a dose of skepticism having had a not so pleasant experience in the past. We also have never had the virtual experience in a one on one setting, and this will be our first try. There is no doubt that Sophie has a limited aptitude for math, and requires above average patience and reinforcement to sustain any sustained improvement. I attended the first lesson to gauge the virtual platform, and the learning exchanges. I was beyond impressed. That initial experience has been sustained, and it is beginning to reflect in my daughter’s confidence in approaching her math work which is a big step in improving her performance. I am grateful that Ms. Gita Prihatini agreed to tutor my daughter.

My daughter enjoys working with her because she makes sure she understands the math before moving on to the next section. When she doesn't understand she is able to find another way for my daughter to comprehend the subject matter. My daughter has learning disabilities so Gita's patient and considerate is highly appreciated. She reviews what my daughter needs to know and understand. She is a blessing because I am low income and can not afford $50 for a private tutor in Los Angeles, but her price is reasonable.
