Quality Poor - Fair I would not recommend this company under any circumstances. During the installation of my bathroom countertop, a piece of granite was dropped, smashing the floor of my brand new vanity (valued at $1444) which caused a 21" long crack in a 26" wide opening, and causing the manufacturer to void the warranty. Instead of doing the right thing, as any credible professional would do, Peter/Owner demanded payment in full, and in cash, before he would finish the job, despite the fact that I had provided him a signed and dated letter the day before when the damage occured stating that I agreed to "pay in full and without hesitation" once the job was completed and the damage was resolved. Peter also refused to return the unused half-portion of granite ($1180) as per the written instructions provided to him by the granite company when he accepted delivery of the slab. I have found Peter to be extremely unprofessional, dishonest and sneaky in his handling of the situation. As far as All Quality's workmanship, I would give it a D-. The slab arrived at my house with a section of the right side very dull in comparison to the left side, contrary to the condition he received it in (high gloss all over). As far as the installation, I would give it an F for obvious reasons, but I think it's worth mentioning that, as Peter stated, the installers failed to take basic precautions to protect my property leaving 1. my brand new drawer gliders filled with soot, 2. a large chip in the top of the countertop that wasn't there when I purchased it, 3. voids in the caulk between the backsplash and countertop, 4. both clear and white caulk used in the same seam behind the sink, 5. drips of caulk in the seams, and 6. a backsplash installed upside down with the unfinished and cracked side up. Needless to say, we are headed to court and I will update this site with the outcome after it is settled. Please see Angie's List for a complete review and pictures of All Quality's workmanship

FAQs

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Do not always go with the cheapest price. Make sure the company you go with is going to do a good job. Ask for references! Make sure they have been in business for a long time and are licensed and insured. Also make sure you are comfortable with the company you choose. If they do not treat you well before you do business, they certainly will not after they have your money!
