FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I take certain criteria into account before pricing: distance of job, gas, tolls, frequency, what needs to be accomplished based on what the client believes they need and I price accordingly per job. Normally, I charge $15-20 per hour. As for cleaning- I may bring a few of my own essentials, but most people prefer to use their own products. Organizing- once area is clean, I look around the house for organization bins, etc to see if there any lying around to re-purpose- before buying. I always ask my clients if they would like to organize with bins, etc. and the client would by them.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Aside from pinterest, browsing internet for new ideas, watching DIY shows, I just know what needs to be done in order to maximize space and make it clutter-free. I have a BA in Interpersonal Communication, which aids in true active listening when consutling with my clients. I also ask tons of questions to get to the backbone of what they truly want accomplished.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I enjoy what I do. I can't sit still, I don't like anything disheveled, and I love to organize!
